Go behind-the-scenes at Givenchy’s last show in this Lea Colombo-shot film

A closer look at the Annemarie Schwarzenbach and Lou Reed-inspired SS19 collection

Two weeks ago, back during the chaos of PFW, Clare Waight Keller presented her third ready-to-wear collection since being appointed artistic director of Givenchy.

The co-ed SS19 collection saw the designer blurring gender lines and taking inspiration from Lou Reed and Annemarie Schwarzenbach – an androgynous, bisexual journalist and photographer born in the early 1900s.

To get another look at the collection, the Parisian label enlisted photographer Lea Colombo to shoot a behind-the-scenes video. Featuring some of the collection’s glittering looks, as well as more masculine tailored pieces, the hazy film also intersperses images of Schwarzenbach among the posing models.
