Alexander Skarsgård’s Pillion press tour was the gift that kept on giving; Jenna Ortega’s ethereal Wednesday looks have put her on the map as a modern fashion icon; meanwhile, Dior’s Jonathan Anderson and Chanel’s Matthieu Blazy both teased their womenswear collections on the Venice Film Festival red carpet (where Greta Lee and Ayo Edibiri stole the show). Earlier this month, as we entered the fourth quarter of the year, an unexpected latecomer joined the ranks of 2025’s most fashionable press tours: Ryan Murphy’s latest series, All’s Fair. With an all-star cast including Kim Kardashian, Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, Niecy Nash and Naomi Watts, it makes sense that the red carpet style has kept us sartorially fed (see Sarah Paulson in Louise Trotter’s Bottega Veneta, or Kim in Dilara Findikoglu SS26). Undeniably blowing everyone else out of the water, however, has been Teyana Taylor – proving that actually, not all is fair. From Armani Privé AW17 to Tamara Ralph AW24 couture and Schiaparelli SS26, Taylor and her frequent stylists Wayman & Micah are no strangers to mixing archive fashion with the most recent collections. Before dominating the All’s Fair press tour, she’d already been getting attention for her One Battle After Another looks (and has been nominated for a Gotham award for her role in the film). Yesterday evening (Oct 30), she tore up yet another red carpet – this time, at the 2025 Time 100 Gala, where she wore the slinkiest of Tom Ford gowns, from creative director Haider Ackermann’s most recent SS26 collection. The see-through dress came complete with a thong and was accessorised only with abs like you’ve never seen before. Awards season may only just be getting started, but Teyana Taylor has already won.
