Responding to a call for Charli XCX to be featured on the song “911” — which premiered alongside a short film in September last year — BloodPop adds: “Working on it!” Yet another suggestion involves releasing unreleased music from Gaga’s collaboration with the late producer and pop pioneer SOPHIE. “I feel like it would be a great honor to see her work,” reads the fan’s comment. “I agree,” BloodPop replies. “But it’s up to her family and it’s imperative to respect their privacy at this time.” I agree but it’s up to her family and its imperative to respect their privacy at this time— bl**dp*p (@bloodpop) April 4, 2021 BloodPop has also responded positively to suggestions including Dorian Electra, Bree Runway, Bad Bunny, Lil Nas X, and more. Grimes has also pitched in, calling for a more unconventional (or inspired) collab: “Nicolas Cage freestyle shouting over ‘Rain On Me’.” Having worked on Gaga’s Chromatica and 2016’s Joanne, BloodPop also previously collaborated with Rina Sawayama on “Lucid”, a single from the deluxe version of her self-titled debut album, Sawayama. Since then, the singer’s bagged a BRITs nomination, after helping to change the awards ceremony’s eligibility rules. Lady Gaga, meanwhile, is busy on the set of Ridley Scott’s upcoming Gucci murder film, House of Gucci. Last month, Dazed gathered her best looks from the set of the film so far.
