SZA, ‘Good Days’ still

SZA shares a psychedelic video for ‘Good Days’

The singer teases a snippet of unreleased music alongside the new visual

SZA’s nostalgic track, “Good Days”, was released on Christmas 2020, after being teased toward the end of the video for the Ty Dolla $ign-featuring “Hit Different”. Now, the singer has released a video for “Good Days”, paired with yet another excerpt of an unreleased song.

The self-directed visuals revolve around a mushroom trip, taking the singer into a psychedelic forest and a towering library, where she shows off her pole dancing skills. The minute-long teaser for new music follows, over video of SZA twirling around a pole in a petrol station.

The follow-up to SZA’s 2017 album, Ctrl, has been in the works for some time now, and she’s reported hitting the studio with the likes of Post Malone, Jack Antonoff, and Brockhampton. In 2020, she also released a song with Justin Timberlake, and featured on Megan Thee Stallion’s debut album, Good News.

In January, SZA singled out Frank Ocean as an ideal collaborator for a remix of “Good Days” (we can dream).
