On opening track “Shots Fired”, the Houston rapper and OG Hot Girl puts Tory Lanez, who’s facing felony assault charges for shooting her with a concealed weapon, on blast. “Imagine n—as lyin’ about shootin’ a real bitch / Just to save face for rapper n—as you chill with / Imagine me givin’ a fuck it was your fuckin’ birthday / You in your feelings, I just thought it was another Thursday,” she spits, while sampling Biggie Smalls’ “Who Shot Ya”. There’s also guest spots from the likes of DaBaby, City Girls, SZA, Lil Durk, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, and a remix of “Savage” featuring bars from none other than Beyoncé – so what are you waiting for? Elsewhere, Dazed cover star Shygirl has released her highly-anticipated EP, Alias, a 20-minute fever dream of hyperpop sounds and industrial textures, with shapeshifting beats couretsy of SOPHIE, Arca, Sega Bodega, and more. Berlin-based artist LA Timpa has also dropped his sophomore album Modern Antics In A Deserted Place, while Cecile Believe’s mixtape is a dreamy bop.
