Now, the rapper can add one of the most high-profile seals of approval to the list: a remix featuring Beyoncé. Dropped today (April 29), the reworked track adds new verses from both artists, with Beyoncé’s featuring some particularly timely references: “Hips TikTok when I dance / On that Demon Time she might start an OnlyFans.” (“Demon Time” presumably refers to the online network of virtual strip clubs that’s opened up in the wake of coronavirus. The significance of TikTok and OnlyFans is self-explanatory.) The new version of the track will also engage with the pandemic in a more concrete way, though. All proceeds will go towards the coronavirus response of Bread Of Life Houston, a charity based in the pair’s hometown. Beyoncé additionally announced a pledge of $6 million to essential workers last week, while Megan Thee Stallion has helped out fans in need during this difficult time. Watch the “Savage” remix below.
