Long before skin scents became one of beauty's biggest trends, Escentric Molecules had already built a cult following by proving that fragrance could be as much about chemistry as perfume. Since launching in 2006, the brand's Molecule 01 and Escentric 01 have become modern classics, worn for the way they interact with the wearer rather than simply sitting on the skin, creating scents that smell subtly different on everyone.

To celebrate the launch of its new campaign, C0DE WITHIN: A Language Only We Share, Dazed and Escentric Molecules are coming together at the Selfridges Cinema in London on Thursday 23 July for our latest Dazed Beauty Sessions event. Alongside a screening of the fragrance house's new film, the evening will feature a panel unpacking the invisible role scent plays in how we express ourselves and connect with others.

Hosted by Dazed’s Beauty Director Alex Peters, the conversation brings together beauty and wellness journalist Twiggy Jalloh, presenter, DJ and creative director Zooey Gleaves, and Escentric Molecules' Global Brand and Marketing Director Millie Devine. Together, they'll discuss everything from skin chemistry and identity to perception, memory and why fragrance continues to shape culture in ways we rarely notice.

The C0DE WITHIN film itself, directed by Paris-based studio Services Généraux, features Mayah Alkhateri of Kiss Facility and marks a new era for the brand. Alkhateri is also joined by performance artist Alfie Sibthorpe and model, artist and actress Soap Collins. Despite their different creative pursuits, in the film, all three cast members come together to relay the same message of fragrance as an extension of one's identity.

Guests will be invited to experience Molecule 01, Escentric 01 and M+ Champaca together through a series of guided sensory moments before the conversation is opened to the audience. Over two hours, guests can also expect welcome and closing drinks, complimentary Escentric Molecules fragrances, exclusive Dazed and Escentric Molecules merchandise, and a tote bag filled with limited-edition giveaways.

Tickets, available to purchase via the Dazed Eventbrite here, are £20 with the full ticket price redeemable against an Escentric Molecules purchase.
