As we wait for the results of the 2020 election, TikTokers are attempting to manifest a Democratic win.

Several viral TikToks show teens using Tibetan singing bowls, candles, and crystals around an all-blue map of the US in an effort to ‘manifest’ Joe Biden’s presidential victory – to a backdrop of Johny Mercury's “The Power of Three”.

Granted, it’s worth taking any talks of manifestation (i.e. if you think it, it will come) with a pinch of salt. But the trend underscores an overwhelming hope for the election to swing in Biden’s favour.

A similar TikTok trend last week saw witches on the platform draw energy from the Halloween blue moon to perform a “Blue Wave” spell, allegedly to help “wash away the corruption and injustice and wickedness of Donald Trump and the Republican Party in a peaceful transition of power”.

Currently, the presidential race is neck-and-neck, with Biden on 264 votes to Trump’s 214. In case you missed it, we’ve rounded up a number of notable moments from the ongoing election, including Trump falsely claiming both fraud and victory, a dead man winning a seat in North Dakota, and concern over mail votes being rejected.

In the meantime, here’s a video of Bernie Sanders perfectly predicting the US election saga – two weeks before Americans took to the polls.
