G. Cook, to Caroline Polachek and Christine and the Queens. In a new post shared to TikTok ahead of the Crash release, however, Charli focuses on her track with Rina Sawayama. Captioned “2022 sneak peak”, the TikTok showcases a section of Sawayama’s verse from the as-yet-untitled song. Featuring UK garage-influenced production, the teaser also includes some of Sawayama’s lyrics: “… Coming and going just as you please / Separated by a degree…” “That’s that,” Charli laughs in the clip. “You don’t need any more of that.” Last month (November 4), Charli XCX shared her latest single from Crash. Titled “New Shapes”, the song featured Carlione Polachek and Christine and the Queens. The pair were also supposed to appear on SNL with Charli, before her appearance was cancelled due to COVID.
