The names include longtime collaborator A. G. Cook, as well as Christine and the Queens, Caroline Polachek, Rina Sawayama, and Oneohtrix Point Never. Elsewhere, there’s The 1975’s George Daniel, previous producers and writers Oscar Holter, Ariel Rechtshaid, Justin Raisen, Lotus IV and Jon Shave, plus untapped collaborators Jason Evigan and Digital Farm Animals. Fans had been hoping for a Sawayama collaboration on the follow-up to last year’s lockdown album how i’m feeling now, after Charli revealed in May that she’d been texting Rina about “making a song” together. Charli has described the LP, her last for Atlantic Records, as “ultimate pop music”. Last month she added that “it’s kind of all about sex and sexuality. It can make people dance and cry at the same time. It’s a vibe.” Meanwhile, past and current RuPaul’s Drag Race UK stars Asttina Mandella, A’Whora, Krystal Versace, Cherry Valentine, and Elektra Fence released a Halloween video of them lip synching to “Good Ones”.
