The adored emo and hip-hop artist, real name Gustav Åhr, had created a loyal community with his trap-laden tunes that candidly discussed mental illness, drug abuse, and sexuality. Tributes flooded in from Ty Dolla $ign, Abra, and Post Malone, among many others. With the approaching launch of a posthumous clothing line, NO SMOK!NG – which was slated to launch in early 2018 before his passing – Peep’s closeknit community can come together in a creative capacity. The vision of Peep, to sell merch alongside special pieces designed by fans, will be realised from August 1-8, when fans will be able to submit their designs on the label’s online platform. The creators of selected designs will share a percentage of the sales but, more importantly, contribute to the memory of the rapper. “Thank you for remaining inspired - you Lil Peep Fans inspire us everyday.
