@crocsFashion / NewsFashion / NewsSurprise! We’re all still obsessed with CrocsThe divisive shoe brand’s sales continue to rise, doubling in just a yearShareLink copied ✔️July 23, 2021July 23, 2021TextDominic Cadogan Once a controversial sartorial choice, Crocs used to be reserved for medical workers, OAPs, and anybody who wanted to be ridiculed in public. But, after a slew of collaborations with the likes of Balenciaga, Christopher Kane, Post Malone, and Justin Bieber, the Croc rose like a phoenix from the ashes to become fashion’s shoe du jour. So, it’s unsurprising then that the shoe brand has released financial reports that say it’s doing very, very well. In three months (up to June 30), the brand made a casual £465m, double the earnings versus this time last year. Overall, the brand’s CEO, Andrew Rees, has now forecast the revenue for 2021 will rise by 65 per cent, 15 per cent over its initial estimate in April. “We continue to see strong consumer demand for the Crocs brand globally,” Rees tells BBC, putting their hopes on customisable Jibbitz charms to continue growing in the future.
