As the film’s release date draws ever nearer – it’s due to hit UK cinemas on Feburary 16 – Paramount Pictures have released the movie’s official posters. Since the first film, the male models have discovered the selfie – both Derek (Ben Stiller) and and Hansel (Owen Wilson) are depicted taking photos of themselves with smart phones – pulling their trademark pouts, naturally. The poster was revealed on the fictional model’s Instagram account with the caption “What are those... phones for giants!? #lol #bluesteel #selfietime #twinning”. The second visual, which resembles a parody fragrance ad, was also posted, with the tongue in cheek copy “No. 2 smells really, really, good. Not like the bad number 2, this is different. #No2”. While most information about the film has been kept firmly under wraps, Justin Bieber (as evidenced by this picture) and Kanye West are confirmed to appear in the title, with British models Naomi Campbell, Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn also rumoured to star. Backstage at Valentino’s AW15 show, the frenemies discussed their walks with Anna Wintour in a video filmed by Derek on a selfie stick – a move that sparked rumours that the legendary Vogue editor will also be making a cameo in the film.
