Ponzano Veneto, the Italian town where Benetton was founded may be over 6,000 miles away from the US west coast, but the Jean’s West line was created to bring the two together, merging Italian craftsmanship with the brawny aesthetic of the American Far West. The line may have been discontinued in 2013, but it’s just made a comeback, with the Italian retailer relaunching the line for today’s fashion fans. “Merging timeless tradition with a contemporary vision, Benetton Group re-launches Jean’s West, a collection that draws on the mythology of the Far West and reshapes it with refreshed silhouettes, authentic details and materials that tell timeless stories,” said the brand in a statement. Coming in a variety of different washes to mimic five to ten years of aging, the icon of 70s style has been updated for a modern audience, and even adds more garments like shirts and outerwear to the mix too.
