Model Behaviour: David M

New face David M was born in Berlin and grew up in the city's suburbs – though today he's based in the centre. A keen musician, David's authentic style isn't a million miles away from his 50s rockabilly-hued look in Dazed's August issue story, his first ever shoot. That's why he wears it well.

Dazed Digital: In Dazed's August issue, you appeared in Ben Toms and Robbie Spencer's 'Tomorrow Is Another Day' cast editorial. Do you have good memories from the shoot?
David M: The shoot was my first shoot ever, so I can't compare it to other ones. But it was a great experience and I had a lot of fun! The crew was very nice and it had a familiar atmosphere in that amazing coal mine.

DD: What was the last song you listened to?
David M: It was 'Another One Bites The Dust', originally by Queen but I listened to a cool rockabilly version.

David M: An associate. I needed a document but he is still sleeping…

David M: Tonight big night out, tomorrow quiet night in.

David M: Berlin!

DD: Favourite food?
David M: Pasta and a tomato sauce I made myself.

DD: What makes you laugh?
David M: People who do stupid things.

DD: What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
David M: You don’t have to eat nothing. But you have to taste everything.

DD: What's your hidden talent?
David M: Cooking. And I could improve if I did it more often.

DD: What do you wear on a day off?
David M: Nothing different to any other day.
