The new visuals see her quite literally swinging in the backyard, and come ahead of the full album, which is set to be released later this month. Produced by Drew Erickson, “Arcadia” will feature on the Blue Banisters tracklist alongside the previously-released title track, which arrived alongside two other songs from the record — “Text Book” and “Wildflower Wildfire” — back in May. Kanye West’s Donda collaborator Mike Dean is also credited as a producer on the follow-up to Del Rey’s last album, Chemtrails Over the Country Club, which was released earlier this year. Ahead of the new record, the singer has deactivated her social media accounts. Explaining the decision to fans, she says: “I have so many other interests and other jobs that I’m doing that require privacy and transparency.” She adds that she’s still working on her records, spoken word albums, and short poetry books as usual. Described by Lana Del Rey as “a compilation of older songs and a few newer songs, some written by family and friends and mostly old collaborators”, Blue Banisters will arrive in full on October 22.
