Posting the cover artwork on Instagram, the newly-platinum blonde artist wrote: “This is my favorite thing I’ve ever created and I am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it. I can’t even tell you. I’ve never felt so much love for a project than I do for this one. Hope you feel what I feel. Alsoooo new song out Thursday at 9AM too!!” Happier Than Ever is due to drop on July 30 and, like Eilish’s debut album, features no outside songwriters or producers. It was written by her and her brother Finneas, who produced the album in LA. The 19-year-old yesterday posted a 15-second clip of the forthcoming single, where she can be heard singing: “When I’m away from you / I’m happier than ever…” Earlier in the year, Billie revealed she’d been recording an album in lockdown. “I made an album,” she said during a Late Show appearance, “and I don’t think I would have made the same album, or even the album at all, if it weren’t for COVID.” “That doesn’t mean it’s about COVID at all,” she continued, “it’s just that, when things are different in your life, you’re different. That’s just how it is. So, I have to thank COVID for that, and that’s about it.” TRACKLIST “Getting Older” “I Didn’t Change My Number” “Billie Bossa Nova” “my future” “Oxytocin” “GOLDWING” “Lost Cause” “Halley’s Comet” “Not My Responsibility” “OverHeated” “Everybody Dies” “Your Power” “NDA” “Therefore I Am” “Happier Than Ever” “Male Fantasy” Expand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MOREHow Turnstile are reinventing hardcore for the internet ageWill these be the biggest musical moments of 2026?Rising singer Liim is the crooning voice of New York CityFrench producer Malibu is an ambient antidote for the chronically online10 musicians to watch in 202610 great albums you may have missed in the last three monthsZukovstheworld on the UK Ug scene: ‘It’s modern pop music’The only tracks you need to hear from December 202511 alt Christmas anthems for the miserable and brokenhearted Last Days: The opera exploring the myth of Kurt CobainHow hip-hop is shaping the fight for Taiwan’s futureNew York indie band Boyish: ‘Fuck the TERFs and fuck Elon Musk’
