Kanye West teases a new album in a now-deleted tweet

The tracklist included recent releases ‘Donda’ and ‘Wash Us in the Blood’

Kanye West has shared the tracklist for a new album, Donda, in a now-deleted tweet that claims that the record will be released next week, July 24, and also appears to make reference to the rapper’s presidential bid with the hashtag #2020Vision.

Why the announcement was subsequently removed is unclear and means that – as with all of Kanye’s releases – it should probably be taken with a pinch of salt.

Assuming the details are correct though, the record will feature the recently-released tracks “Donda” (both the song and the forthcoming album take their names from Kanye’s late mother) and “Wash Us in the Blood”, featuring Travis Scott.

“New Body”, a track featuring Nicki Minaj that was originally set to be a part of Kanye’s Yandhi project, also appears on the tracklist.

Obviously, all of this comes in the middle of a very busy time for the rapper. Besides the new music and his ongoing presidential run – a recent survey saw him polling at 2% – work is continuing on his “affordable” housing project. A partnership between Yeezy and Gap was also announced late last month.
