The rapper dropped two captionless pics on his Twitter and Instagram – one shows a board that announces Adam Driver and ‘Yandhi’ are guests on an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live, another shows a CD similar to the Yeezus album artwork. West has confirmed that the musical project ‘Yandhi’ will drop September 29, coinciding with an SNL appearance. It will be Ye’s seventh appearance on the show. It’s uncertain whether this record will be a full-length album, a Yeezus sequel, another EP or mixtape. Yandhi of course sounds like a play on Gandhi, in the same way Yeezus was of Jesus. pic.twitter.com/lopkmtvqE5— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) September 17, 2018 The rapper has put out five records – the Wyoming albums – this year alone. He has also claimed that a sequel to Watch the Throne is on its way ‘soon’. Yesterday (September 17) West also confirmed his upcoming collaboration with Chance the Rapper. While attending Chance’s Open Mike night in Chicago, he confirmed the title as Good Ass Job, something Chance had teased on his own Instagram. Yandhi season is coming September 29. #goodassjobpic.twitter.com/RN7Oy42Sue— Chance The Rapper (@chancetherapper) September 18, 2018Expand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MOREBloodz Boi: The humble godfather of Chinese underground rapA rare interview with POiSON GiRL FRiEND, dream pop’s future seerNigeria’s Blaqbonez is rapping to ‘beat his high score’Inside Erika de Casier’s shimmering R&B universe ‘Rap saved my life’: A hazy conversation with MIKE and Earl Sweatshirt7 essential albums by the SoulquariansIs AI really the future of music?playbody: The club night bringing connection back to the dancefloorAn interview with IC3PEAK, the band Putin couldn’t silenceFrost Children answer the dA-Zed quizThe 5 best features from PinkPantheress’ new remix albumMoses Ideka is making pagan synth-folk from the heart of south London
