The tour will be in support of their upcoming album, MAP OF THE SOUL : 7, due to release February 21. The first single from the record, “Black Swan”, was released last week (January 17), along with an accompanying ‘art film’. Recently, the K-pop group have also launched a series of free art exhibitions as part of a large-scale project, CONNECT, BTS. The tour isn’t the only news for BTS fans, as they’re also expected to perform with Lil Nas X at the Grammys on January 26, according to Variety’s recent interview with the “Old Town Road” rapper (though the recording Academy hasn’t officially confirmed the lineup – fingers crossed). Diplo, Mason Ramsey, and Billy Ray Cyrus are also going to be joining Lil Nas X, sources say. View the BTS 2020 world tour announcement below.
