The track itself, released today on streaming platforms, is a lush and weightless pop song merging cloud rap, trap, and guitar music – but it’s also accompanied by an ‘art film’ performed by the MN Dance Company, a Slovenian modern dance troupe, that strips the track back as an orchestral version. The “Black Swan” art film/music video doesn’t feature any of the K-pop group’s members, and instead focuses on the MN Dance Company’s choreography. It’s not the only art collaboration that BTS are currently involved with – earlier this week they revealed a series of free art installations around the world under the name CONNECT, BTS. MAP OF THE SOUL : 7 is out on February 21, pre-orders for which have already surpassed 3.42 million copies, according to a press release.
