The follow-up to her 2014 album LP1, MAGDALENE was written and recorded in London, New York, and Los Angeles over a period of three years, following events in her personal life including heartbreak and laparoscopic surgery to remove tumours. MAGDALENE includes the previously released singles “cellophane”, “holy terrain” (which features Atlanta rapper Future), “home with you”, and “sad day”. The album was produced by FKA twigs, with collaborators including Nicolas Jaar, Skrillex, and Oneohtrix Point Never, and more.
