Produced by FKA twigs and written with Ethan P. Flynn, “home with you” is, true to its name, a song about home. “You can take the girl out of the suburbs but you can’t take the suburbs out of the girl,” twigs says of the track in a press release. “‘home with you’ reinforced my reoccurring suspicion that when I’m in doubt, I should follow my gut and go home.” The video, directed by twigs, begins at London’s Bar-A-Bar club on Kingsland Road at night and follows twigs and her pals on a road trip out to nature by the morning. The track follows previously released MAGDALENE cuts “cellophane” and the Future-featuring “holy terrain”. MAGDALENE was recorded between London, New York, and Los Angeles, and is primarily produced by FKA twigs, with collaborators including Nicolas Jaar and more. The album’s release date has been pushed back slightly – from October 25 to November 8. She tours North America, the UK, and Europe from November 2. Listen to “home with you” below.
