Hot on the heels of joining the cast of Netflix’s forthcoming Christmas rom-com, Lindsay Lohan has announced that she’s starting her own podcast. As reported by Deadline, the actor is set to “share her authentic voice” with listeners, who will get “a chance to experience a never-before-seen side” of the Mean Girls star. The as-yet-untitled series is being developed with Red Arrow Studios’ Studio71, with tentative plans to launch later this year or in early 2022. “I’m excited to partner with Studio71 in the development and production of my podcast,” Lohan said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to connecting with more of my fans and having intimate conversations with friends and thought leaders across all industries.” Moorea Smith, the senior talent relations manager at Studio71, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Lindsay to Studio71’s podcast network, and can’t wait for her to take listeners behind the scenes of her life and work. With her unparalleled experiences as an entertainer and entrepreneur, we are so excited for her to take the mic and share her thoughts and opinions with the world.” There’s no more information about the podcast as of yet, but in the meantime, you can catch Lohan on Cameo doing personalised Mean Girls quotes for fans.
