With fun, bold and playful frames the collection was an extension of the aesthetic the Ganni cult has created. Made using wood pulp combined with bio-plasticiser, the frames stir away from the usual use of fossil fuels, offering a more virgin plastic-free take on eyewear. Now, released on February 7, the Scandinavian and Dutch brands have collaborated again for a new collection. First debuted at Ganni’s SS24 ‘Hello World’’ show. KAYLA SUNGLASSES £185.00 These Kayla Sunglasses feature a black frame, tone-in-tone lenses, logo detailing on the temples together with winged endpieces that are inspired by the original GANNI sunglasses silhouette. The temple on this colourway is cut in half and laminated, showing two types of acetate colours. Shop Here The collection itself sees the labels introduce 16 new eyewear styles designed to cater to diverse personalities and style preferences. From the Twiggy to the bold Noel, each model embodies a unique character, complemented by captivating colourways such as Liquorice (Black), Kaffie (Orange), and Cherry Bomb (Red). Embracing innovative materials, the collection continues both brand’s dedication to more responsible fashion. New features crafted exclusively from recycled Acetate and Acetate Renew Bio, the frames set a new standard for eyewear – and arrive in exclusive packaging made from sugarcane. GRAY NOEL SUNGLASSES £185.00 These Noel Sunglasses are designed in a winged shape inspired by the GANNI Butterfly logo and feature a frost gray aerodynamic shield-style frame, tone-in-tone lenses and logo detailing on the temples. I was thinking about a brighter tomorrow, focusing on more responsible choices and creating a range of eyewear that really speaks to individuality and personality,” explains Ditte Reffstrup, creative director of Ganni. “We had a lot of fun with the more spacey, futuristic shapes that also complement our new play on the perfect cat-eye well. We wanted to create a collection with something for everyone.” KAFFE DAKOTA SUNGLASSES £185.00 Dakota, the smoothest frame around. A new oval. A soft sixities vibe. A true brainchild of our GANNI collab, this frame features wrapped endpieces and comes in stylish colourways, each made from our low-impact materials. This colour is Acetate Renew Bio, made from wood pulp combined with recycled contents instead of fossil fuels and then combined with bio-based plasticizers. Shop Here Head of design at Ace & Tate, Torunn Gullaksen, added: “Collaborating with Ganni again was a dream come true! But that's not all – each frame in this collection is made using our most sustainable materials yet: recycled and acetate bio-renew. From rectangular cat eyes to wrap-around, flares, and ovals, we’ve got you covered!” TWIGGY CHERRY BOMB SUNGLASSES £185.00 Meet GANNI's fresh take on Twiggy.
