The Mulberry Bayswater has had the world in a chokehold for over 20 years. When the handbag first dropped in 2003, it was quickly spotted on the arm of every 00s It girl, subsequently becoming the object of desire for every other woman in the country (I remember my secondary school dance teacher saving up for months to buy one).

Several It bags emerged in the late 90s to early 00s – the Fendi baguette, Louis Vuitton's Murakami collection, the Chloé Paddington and Balenciaga’s City bag – but none that had an impact, in the UK at least, quite like the Mulberry Bayswater. If we know anything about fashion, it’s that it repeats itself roughly every 20 years, and this February, the Bayswater is back.

To celebrate the British brand’s 55th anniversary, Mulberry has launched a very special limited edition capsule collection featuring 55 one-of-one bags, composed of surplus and sample materials found in the Mulberry archives. The first drop landed last week and sold out in under eight minutes. The second drop happened this afternoon (February 27) and is mostly already gone – run, don’t walk! Evidently, the demand for the bag is as fierce as ever.  You never know what surprises Mulberry might have up its sleeve, so keep an eye on the website here

Elsewhere in fashion this week, London Fashion Week came to a close and the shows moved to Milan (catch up with everything you missed from the UK capital here). Yesterday, in a groundbreaking show, Raf Simons and Mrs P featured 60 looks on the Prada runway, yet only 15 models. Meanwhile, today, Demma made an impressive first impression at Gucci. Here’s everything else you missed in between the shows…

A SUPREME DROP TO DIE FOR

You can now get buried in Supreme. The skatewear brand’s SS26 collection includes a glossy red steel coffin with a faux-fur leopard print interior and adjustable bed. Many of us have never considered what outfit we’d like to be buried in, let alone what type of casket we fancy – at least now every Supreme fan knows what they want.
