In a new campaign film released today, Jackson sets off in a convertible to find his own Superstars, eventually landing at the fictional Hotel Superstar. In the hotel’s eerie bedrooms and hallways, he encounters a host of familiar faces, including Jennie, Kendall Jenner, Lamine Yamal, Baby Keem, Olivia Dean, James Harden and Tyshawn Jones. (Naturally, each of the famous hotel guests is decked out in adidas Originals drip.) The surrealist, slightly haunting video was directed by photographer and filmmaker Thibaut Grevet, and feels closer to a trailer for an arthouse horror film than a traditional sneaker ad. Jackson’s journey through the hotel is a metaphor for the lasting influence of both the Superstar and those who wear it, according to the brand. “Most folks make moments… but some make movements,” Jackson declares as shots of the campaign’s stars appear across the screen. “They don’t just walk through time – they leave it different than they found it.” The campaign is a part of adidas Originals Spring 2026 rollout, which sees the revamping of several tried and true styles, including a version of Superstars that reimagines the classic black and white design to include red accents. As for new styles, the men’s collection now includes loose-fitting tracksuits that feature a red, black and white iteration of adidas’ Originals 3-Stripes design. As part of the brand’s recent focus on denim, denim shorts, shown on Tyshawn Jones in the campaign’s film, are also now included in the men’s collection. Kendall JennerPhotography courtesy of adidas Originals For the women’s collection, adidas Originals reconstructed its defining track jacket entirely with the introduction of the Superstar Tracktop, modelled by Kendall Jenner in the film. Along with the faux leather version, the top also comes in a crochet material. Though the campaign film ends with (spoiler alert) Jackson finding a pair of Superstars that quite literally fall from the sky, you don’t need such luck to get a pair of your own – simply head here to check out the new collection.
