Bella’s got a new gig at SwarovskiMs. Hadid joins the house’s latest glittering campaign and lands herself a spot as brand ambassadorShareLink copied ✔️May 5, 2022May 5, 2022TextDazed DigitalSwarovski x Bella Hadid Fresh from her turn on the hallowed Met steps at this year’s glittering(ish) Gala, Bella Hadid has slipped out of her sexy Dilara Findikoglu undies and into her new role as the face of Swarovski. Announced as the house’s latest addition to its roster of brand ambassadors, the supermodel also features in a stripped-back campaign captured by industry icons Mert and Marcus. In a pink corset and space buns, and a green hoodie pulled low over her face, Hadid shows off Swarovski creative director Giovanna Engelbert’s creations – her neck and wrists strung with glittering crystal globs, earlobes dripping with candy-coloured jewels. The campaign was conceptualised to demonstrate how a new gen of fashion fans are accessorising: gone are the days of digging out your most OTT jewellery only on special occasions, and in is a more haphazard approach to your accoutrements. Want to wear your sparkliest necklace with your tired old trackies and no make-up? Fuck it, obvs. Hadid, who’s recently been channelling the style of a Sports Direct devotee circa 2002 (with a giant mug to match) reflects this spirit, according to Engelbert. “Bella sums up the individualistic and transformative attitude of a new global generation,” she explains. “She’s a multifaceted character who evades the boxes of rules and conformity. She goes from sporty to glamorous while remaining the same girl with confidence and authority.” Check out the campaign in the gallery above.
