All hail the pope of trash! John Waters is the new face of Saint Laurent

Joining a long list of iconic Saint Laurent models today is none other than John Waters. 

Following in the footsteps of Marilyn Manson, Keanu Reeves, and Courtney Love, the legendary, lewd director joins Lenny Kravitz as the face of the label’s AW20 menswear collection.

Captured, as always, by Anthony Vaccarello’s go-to photographer David Sims, Waters is seen in a slick black double-breasted dinner jacket, polka dot shirt, and tie, with a pair of the house’s sunglasses in his hand. The look is completed with his signature pencil thin moustache and a sneer etched across his face, which tbh is a whole mood.

In an accompanying video, Waters, who really needs no introduction, introduces himself anyway. “Transgression is when you break the rules and you make people laugh,” he tells the camera – something he’s come to be a bit of a master of across the course of his five-decade-long career.
