Six months later, the label is taking us on a journey from the East to the West Coast, landing in Los Angeles for its latest campaign. Shot by Canadian twin brother duo Naskademini and Marcus Troy, the SS20 campaign is titled Portraits of LA, and stars a roster of LA creatives – including musicians, artists and dancers. Alongside the diverse cast, the brand new collection represents the importance of ‘individuality’ and ‘movement’, which is brought to life through the different energies each model brings when wearing the collection in their own unique way. Importantly, the collection also focusses on comfort. Featuring a wide range of pieces, Parajumpers SS20 does not just include traditional outwear staples (such as padded parkas and puffer jackets). Instead, it also incorporates elevated aspects of casual wear, including fleeces and knits, which are designed with a focal point on being durable, functional and modern. Elsewhere, the red, midnight blue, and khaki found in collection’s colour palette have been chosen to resemble the hues found in a Los Angeles sunset, mimicking the promise of a night out in the metropolis. So, even if you’re not in in the city itself, you can wear clothes that transport you there. Visit the gallery above to see more.
