Exploring the similarities and differences between city living and adventuring in nature, the label comissioned creative duo Marcus Troy and Naskademini to capture the pieces on some of New York’s most intriguing personalities, street spotted in the borough of Brooklyn by casting agent Jorge Gitoo Wright. The group of characters – from photographers to musicians and more – are seen wearing some of our favourite pieces from the new range, which includes logo-printed knits, practical sweats, and also sees unexpected fabrics such as chinille, velvet, leather and silk introduced for the first time. The collection’s theme revolves around repurposed athleisure, and sees three new jacket capsules – OUTSTANDING, TOP NOTCH and ENDURANCE. The latter has been created by Japanese guest designer Yoshinori Ono, who has concepted incredibly lightweight yet resistant materials that would work just as well when trekking up a mountain, as they would for running around Greenpoint grocery shopping in a torrential summer downpour.
