Shot against the house’s signature beige colour, the sisters are captured alongside Kendall Jenner, who was notably absent from the AW20 menswear schedule. Lensed by Inez and Vinoodh, the campaign is intended to mark a new beginning for the house, with Riccardo Tisci, Burberry’s chief creative officer explaining, “I have been working for a few seasons to define a new identity and visual language for this house. I wanted to celebrate the men and women who represent Burberry – some who have been a long-standing part of my career and others who have started this Burberry journey with me.” Capturing “the sophistication and attitude at the heart of the house today”, the campaign also features a legion of Burberry faces, with models, Benji Arvay, He Cong, Freja Beha Erichsen, Nozomu Ito, Reece Nelson, Tosin Olajire, and Dazed 100-ers Rianne van Rompaey and Mona Tougaard all starring. With the house’s classic trench coats, silk shirts detailed with a unique monkey print, rugby shirts, and a series of bonnets, which were debuted for the house last season, all on display, the campaign comes ahead of Burberry’s AW20 showcase, which will take place in London later this month.
