Here’s everything you need to know. THE SET CHANNELLED A TRASHY TV GAME SHOW It goes without saying that Jeremy Scott goes all out when it comes to his shows, but this one was particularly OTT. The set looked a lot like that of trashy 90s TV game show The Price Is Right, with the runway lined with flashing lights and all the grand prizes: including a washing machine and dryer set, a red sports car, a uber-90s bedroom set, a pool table, and a home gym on display. THE HAIR WAS ENORMOUS Models including Kaia Gerber, Joan Smalls, Bella Hadid, and Adut Akech took to the runway wearing wigs of a stature not seen since Valentino’s AW18 Couture show: seriously, they were massive. Dolly Parton, eat your heart out. For AW19, apparently you’ve got to go big or go home. THE COLLECTION WAS ALL ABOUT KITSCHY, 90s GLAM The label’s theme for AW19 is apparently more, more, MORE, with gold leather two-piece suits, full-length sparkling dresses with waist-length splits, and more than a few gowns with some serious cut-out detailing all featuring heavily. There was also a number of looks printed with dollar bills and gambling paraphernalia, all studded with plastic rhinestones: apparently, the Moschino girl has a developed a bit of a gambling habit since the last show. THE ACCESSORIES WERE MEGA-KITSCH Scott had really cranked things up to 11 at this collection, and no more so than when it came to the accessories. On the line-up were sky-high strappy sandals (covered in glitter, obviously), and long metallic leather gloves, as well as bags that looked like rolled-up dollar bills and champagne bottles. Perhaps the wildest accessory of all, though, was a huge cape printed with a TV dinner of microwavable frozen vegetables and butter, as well as a couple of desserts: ideal for when you want to let them know you’re not just a snack, you’re the whole damn meal.
