Glamour and grunge: A new Dazed shoot celebrates Sisley K’s arrival

Unless you’ve been living under a rock since 1968, you know exactly what Sisley is. Founded in Paris by married couple Hubert and Isabelle d’Ornano, the iconic Benetton Group acquired the label in 1976, and took the cotton and denim brand to stratospheric new heights. So, Sisley may be solidly inducted into fashion’s annals – but have you heard of Sisley K?

For those unfamiliar, Sisley K is the new little sister line of the French brand, but rather than coming from the ateliers of Paris, the clothes are exclusively designed by a creative team in Seoul, South Korea (hence the ‘K’ in its name). Though the brand officially launched in Rome back in April, it waited until the recent London Fashion Week to arrive in the UK, making its debut in the Benetton store on Oxford street.

To celebrate the arrival, Dazed has teamed up with the brand for an exclusive digital shoot of Sisley K’s AW25 collection, with photographers Chus & Greg and stylist Joe Share highlighting the grungy glamour of the new offering. “The Fall collection develops around two style inspirations,” said the brand of the latest line. “Poetic Romance, which reinterprets boho elements with a romantic touch to create a fluid and sophisticated elegance; and Day Traveler, a versatile and practical everyday wardrobe designed for today’s modern, dynamic woman.”
