The most iconic looks from the last ever Tinaween

Say goodbye to Halloween’s most debauched party

After a decade of parties, last week marked the last ever Tinaween. Over its 10 year reign, the party – founded by Isaac Lock and Robbie Spencer – has put forward themes ranging from Bloodbath on Broadway and Space Oddity, to the fishy-orientated Tunaween

To celebrate its final outing, the very first party – Night of 1000 Britneys – was revived in a meta sort of Oops!... I Did It Again moment. Taking over The White Swan and the adjoining Majingos strip club in East London, the last event saw partygoers – including Edie Campbell, Alex Brownsell, Thomas de Kluyver, Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Julia Ratner, Marta Jakubowski, Gary Card, Tessa Edwards, Dinah Lux, Paul Hameline, Lea Colombo, Sang Woo Kim – take on a huge number of the pop icon’s best moments.

There was “(You Drive Me) Crazy” pink waitress Britney, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Britney and many a Britney VMA bride. More conceptual looks included Miss Spears’ watercolour paintings (click here immediately if you don’t understand the reference) and her best-selling fragrance Fantasy. Elsewhere, DJ sets were provided by Jeffrey Hinton, Bleach London, Fred MacPherson, Louie Banks, Project Legroom, The Gorgeousise, Hun and more.

While you find a way to cope with living in a post-Tinaween world, just think of how “Lucky” you were to have lived through it – even if the closest you ever got were the images in the gallery above.
