One Beijing designer, Liu Wei, hasn't been as lucky. During Liu Wei's show at the Mercedes-Benz China Fashion Week in Hong Kong, she made a bold statement about the recent Occupy Central protests. With models dressed in face masks and bloodstained umbrellas, Liu was drawing clear references to the violent clashes between police and protesters, which saw demonstrators attempt to protect themselves from teargas attacks with masks and brollies.
