Launched in 2000 by British design champion Lulu Kennedy, Fashion East is the showcase of up-and-coming British talent. Central Saint Martins breakout star Ed Marler will join returning designers Louise Alsop and Helen Lawrence, who last season premiered an array of distressed textiles, DIY stitching details and experimental hemlines. Marler’s “more is more” approach to design is guaranteed to produce some similarly loud looks this season.
