Closet Case: Ed Marler

Louise Gray assistant and Saint Martins womenswear talent Ed Marler kicks off our new style series as we delve into his wardrobe

Kicking off our new series celebrating creative style, we hung out with Ed Marler to take a look inside his wardrobe. The Central Saint Martins womenswear student made his mark both interning with Louise Gray, a designer synonymous with a frontierless take on getting dressed, and as the boy down the pub rocking killer vintage Junior Gaultier. In this exclusive film, the east Londoner discusses why there should be no difference between day and eveningwear, how Westwood devil horns are a more of a staple than a diamante tiara and that two football shirts, worn as a top and skirt make a good throw-it-on dress. An insight into imagination, the best accessory is an open, fuck ‘em all attitude – so alter your mental state, the world’s your oyster.
