They’ve all been muses for BLK DNM’s Wild Poster series, as shot by Johan Lindeberg. Now in its 10th incarnation, the launch of this Anja Rubik-fronted campaign celebrates independent women, focusing on freedom of expression – and the kind of independent feminine spirit that inspired Lindeberg to start up his maverick denim brand in the first place. Launched back in 2011, the Wild Poster campaigns have featured countless model high-achievers that all, uniquely, face away from the camera in-shot. Flash forward to 2014, and Lindeberg reckons Rubik is the ultimate BLK DNM woman, “She is super creative and also a great entrepreneur. I love her magazine, 25, and how she's constantly finding new ideas and ways to push borders. She's in control.” Just as Rubik provides the ideal muse for the strong BLK DNM woman, the streets of NY set the scene for the downtown denim brand’s latest film. Accompanying the poster that has just rolled out across the city, the fashion film is soundtracked by fellow New Yorker Jihae and features Rubik rocking out in breakneck style.
