Bella Hadid has given herself an isolation fringe and it’s not bad

Jonathan Van Ness would not be impressed, though

Another day, another DIY haircut. During this period of social isolation, hair really has become the blank canvas which everyone is focusing their pent up energy and creativity on, giving themselves at-home bleaches, dye-jobs, trims, and buzzcuts.

And now following in the footsteps of Rosalía, and against the advice of Jonathan Van NessBella Hadid has cut herself a lockdown fringe. Debuting the new style on her Instagram stories, Hadid announced the change with the straight to the point caption: “I cut my bangs.” A short time later, her career as a hair stylist had advanced to the next stage: clients. She posted a story showing her giving her isolation friend Leah the same cut.

Apart from that, the model has been spending her time in isolation the same way as the rest of us – making a TikTok account, wearing bandanas, and baking. Stars… they are just like us.

Cutting yourself a fringe is a risky move but if you are brave enough to undertake the challenge hairdresser and owner of Queens Peckham Salon, Beth Kucic has gone a step by step guide and tips for what style of fringe will best suit your face shape. Read all about it here.
