Discover them here. Tibetan model Tsunaina has a look so unique that she has been likened to everything from an intergalatic Avatar to even an exotic cat in an attempt to describe her. Beautiful feline like eyes – almost always accentuated by an elegant cat flick – gorgeous pillowy lips, porcelain skin, a chiselled jawline, unusually structured nose bridge and a neat constellation of freckles scattered across her face, her beauty is otherworldly. Since being discovered by the legendary make-up artist Pat McGrath, who used her as a muse for her latest space inspired make-up collection Mothership, Tsunaina has already been tapped by likes of ASAI, Christian Dior, Harpers Bazaar KZ and King Kong magazine, building up a large Instagram following in the process. Fans flock to the Londoner's feed for her beautifullly curated selfies, interspersed with calming images of the ocean, snowy mountainscapes, stained glass and art historical nudes. Away from the catwalk, Tsunaina is also an aspiring musician. "I think I have always been a storyteller, it's in my nature, it's in my blood, and it felt most natural to me to tell stories with songs," she muses. "I grew up alone a lot so I became my own temple and I learned to listen to my own rhythm very early." Tell us a bit about yourself and where you grew up?I was born in Kowloon, then I spent the first half of my life in South Asia. Then, I came to the UK, then London, where I learnt to be an adult all over again. About me, I know I am very strong willed and I'm in my own world a lot of the time and I am very devoted and very emotional. What is it you do and why do you do it?People usually know me from modelling but, most days, I make music. Most days I am just imagining things then making them real, musically and visually. I try to find a perfect place between the things I grew up with and the new things I am learning. To me, it feels all very intimate and raw but also very experimental and epic and that's why I do it. It feels right and it makes me happy. How did you get into it?I think I have always been a storyteller, it's in my nature, it's in my blood, and it felt most natural to me to tell stories with songs. Also, I really really love to sing, it's when I feel the most whole and free. What are you working on at the moment?Music, of course. I’m learning to not be so secretive with music. I'm inviting the world in soon. It's 30 years from now. You stumble home at 3am and catch your reflection in the fridge door. What do you look like?I think too much so my hair is probably starting to go grey but I wear it just like I do now, loose and too long. My eyes are all wrinkled from smiling lots. My lipstick is barely there because I still love make-up but I still love kissing more. My dress is, as always, over the top and out of place. I have one less ring than what I started the night with.
