Has Donald Trump opened an OnlyFans account? An investigation

After being kicked off of almost every social media platform ever, it seems that Donald Trump, like every other celebrity on the planet, has bit the bullet and joined OnlyFans – presumably to pay off the billions of dollars of debt he’s been amassing.

The rumours first started on Twitter, where a tweet from user @jasminericegirl appeared to show a deactivated verified OnlyFans page with the name Donald J. Trump – an account that’s been active, bizarrely, since 2017.

While OnlyFans has denied the 45th president’s involvement in the adult subscription platform (maybe he thought he was joining OnlyKlans?), many social media users have pointed out the rigid verification process needed to join. Users are required to share a valid ID that needs to be confirmed by the site before they can post videos – though it’s not clear whether it’s checked against the username they choose.

Speaking to Insider, an OnlyFans spokesperson said that “Donald Trump does not have an OnlyFans account” and “Any impersonation profiles have been removed”. OnlyFans has yet to confirm whether the president is banned from making an account – though if he does, let’s hope he remembers to pay his taxes.

Trump was banned permanently from Twitter following the storming of the US Capitol by a MAGA mob on January 6. Other social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, Twitch, Shopify, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, Discord, and Pinterest, have also either banned or restricted his access to their sites.

Meanwhile, Google Play Store, the Apple App store, Amazon AWS, Okta, and Twilio have banned Parler, an app popular among the far-right and conservative groups who support Trump.
