Many citizens in countries across Europe took to the streets to voice their concerns and protested against President Putin’s invasion of the country. Horrified and angry, hundreds in London attended a demonstration staged outside Downing Street to protest the invasion and call for the UK government to act. Further protests are planned across the country in the coming days as more and more devastating news about the ongoing war continues to break. While it feels like a helpless time and it’s difficult to know how to help those suffering in Ukraine, taking to the streets and putting pressure on the government to help the Ukrainian people is a powerful way we can all show solidarity.
