Vince Staples drops ‘Are You With That?’ ahead of his self-titled album

The Kenny Beats-produced track is the latest single from the rapper’s long-awaited record, set to arrive later this week

Vince Staples has shared the latest song from his much-anticipated follow-up to 2018’s FM!, which is set to arrive later this week. Titled “Are You With That?”, the track also features the return of producer Kenny Beats, alongside Reske.

“Are You With That?” follows last month’s debut single and music video from the self-titled record, “Law of Averages”. That song was the rapper’s first solo single since 2019’s Vince Staples Show track “Hell Bound”.

Explaining the album’s title in June, Staples said: “It really gives much more information about me that wasn’t out there before. That’s why I went with that title. I feel like I’ve been trying to tell the same story. As you go on in life, your point of view changes. This is another take on myself that I might not have had before.”

The 10-track LP isn’t all he’s been working on, though. As detailed back in April, another new album – Ramona Park Broke My Heart – is in the works, alongside a Netflix show and the newly-announced graphic novel Limbo Beach.

Vince Staples is set to arrive in full this Friday (July 9). In the meantime, listen to “Are You With That?” below.
