Yesterday, they shared more information on the imminent release, including the album artwork and tracklist. Coming in at 13 tracks, the record is set to include collaborations with A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg, Charlie Wilson, and more, while JPEGMAFIA appears on the track “Chain On” (a collab of the same title was previously released then deleted as part of the group’s 2020 lockdown series). Earlier this month, Brockhampton released the first official Roadrunner single, “Buzzcut”, with Danny Brown, who also appeared in the song’s frenetic music video. pic.twitter.com/DEeJ3o3gto— BROCKHAMPTON (@brckhmptn) March 31, 2021 Alongside the new information, the hip hop band’s de facto leader, Kevin Abstract, announced that Roadrunner is one of two albums that they’ve planned to release in 2021. “These will be our last,” he adds (though this was also claimed ahead of 2019’s Ginger, so should perhaps be taken with a pinch of salt). The premiere of the new album will be marked by a livestreamed show from Rick Rubin’s Shangri-La studio in Malibu. The legendary producer has also featured in teaser videos for Roadrunner, alongside RZA. 2 brockhampton albums in 2021 - these will be our last— kevin abstract (@kevinabstract) March 31, 2021Expand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MOREInside Erika de Casier’s shimmering R&B universe ‘Rap saved my life’: A hazy conversation with MIKE and Earl Sweatshirt InstagramIntroducing Instagram’s 2025 Rings winners7 essential albums by the SoulquariansIs AI really the future of music?VanmoofWhat went down at Dazed and VanMoof’s joyride around Berlinplaybody: The club night bringing connection back to the dancefloorAn interview with IC3PEAK, the band Putin couldn’t silenceFrost Children answer the dA-Zed quizThe 5 best features from PinkPantheress’ new remix albumMoses Ideka is making pagan synth-folk from the heart of south LondonBehind-the-scenes at Oklou and FKA twigs’ new video shoot
