For now, though, we’re just going to have to make do with the pair’s TikTok parody of Hannah Montana. “I hope Miley don’t block me for this,” wrote Lil Nas X, when he originally posted his take on “every episode of Hannah Montana” to the app – dramatically removing a blonde wig, he says, “I can’t keep doing this Lily, I can’t keep living this lie. Stop! Stop the music!” (That music, incidentally, is a clip of his long-awaited song named after Call Me By Your Name.) Predictably, Cyrus didn’t block the rapper for his parody of the Disney Channel show she starred in between 2006 and 2011. Instead, she joined in with the joke this week, posting a TikTok duet captioned: “What Lily is really thinking when Miley presses send on ANOTHER Hannah reveal.” “Again? The old Hannah reveal is losing its shock value,” the Plastic Hearts singer says in response to Lil Nas X going wig-off. “You do this every fucking week Miley.” Coincidentally, Miley Cyrus also brought up Hannah Montana on Twitter this week, responding to a tweet from Megan Thee Stallion, in which the latter shares her favourite song from the series (“If We Were A Movie”, FYI). “Can Hannah get a feature?” Miley Cyrus replies.
