The singer shared her a-capella version of the track last month, ahead of it being featured in a new documentary called The End Of The Storm, about the Premier League football club. The limited edition 7″ vinyl version of her cover will be released on December 7, with all proceeds from the sale of the vinyl going to charity via the Liverpool FC Foundation. The new effort follows a string of covers, including Sublime’s “Doin’ Time”, which appeared on last year’s Norman Fucking Rockwell!, and George Gershwin’s 1935 jazz standard “Summertime”. Last month, she covered the Catholic hymn “On Eagles’ Wings”, after it was referenced by Joe Biden in his first speech as president-elect. Meanwhile, we’re still waiting on her much-delayed album Chemtrails Over the Country Club, which is now likely to arrive either December 10 or January 7 due to coronavirus-related complications. Back in September, she did tease the video set for the record’s title track, and last month she released the first single, “Let Me Love You Like A Woman”.
