Released today (August 30), the album – a follow-up on 2017’s Lust for Life – was produced and co-written by Lana and Jack Antonoff, and features 14 tracks, including songs previewed in recent years such as “Bartender”, “Happiness is a butterfly”, “How to disappear”, and “California”. To coincide with the release, the queen of summertime sadness has dropped an accompanying music video for her cover of Sublime’s “Doin’ Time”, which sees a giant Lana channel the Attack of the 50 Foot Woman through the streets of Los Angeles. If this wasn’t enough of a treat, the singer – who recently professed her love of 17-year-old artist Billie Eilish – will be promoting her new album this weekend in a Norman Fucking Rockwell! ice cream truck that will roll out “up and down the coast” over Labour Day weekend. “Anywaysssssss going to have a couple ice cream trucks going up and down the coast this weekend.
