Last week, the brand ushered in a new era of its frames with fresh iterations of its iconic Jackets family, which, as Oakley put it, “fit the face the way apparel fits the body”. The new frames take their inspiration from the original styles, the Eye Jacket (1994), the Racing Jacket (1998), and the Straight Jacket (1999). Among the recently launched frames are the Plantaris SQ, the Terraforma and the Neoforma, slim, futuristic-looking pairs that feel in line with the brand’s design-forward aesthetic. There’s also the Eye Jacket Redux, which was first re-launched in 2019, and the Suture Jacket, which will be available in April. Finally, the collection is rounded out with the Neoture and Neomata, prescription frames fit for those who prefer a more nostalgic look. Along with the fresh frames, Oakley also launched its new Field Gear Line collection, an assortment of vests, jackets and other apparel, all designed in Japan with innovative, high-tech materials built to perform. The new collection shares the same design inspiration as the updated Jackets, creating a 360-degree experience for those looking to elevate their style or simply upgrade their existing Oakley collection. To grab a pair of the reimagined Oakley Jackets for yourself, head to the Oakley website, or check them out at select Oakley stores. Courtesy of OakleyCourtesy of OakleyEscape the algorithm!
