With a majority of his European and North American spring tour dates sadly postponed due to coronavirus, the musician has graced us with a little taste of what to expect with a dreamy live performance video. Recorded for Echoes, a live performance show for French TV channel Arte, the 30-minute video covers six tracks from Man Alive!, as well as two deep cuts from his 2017 album The OOZ. The full-length broadcast, featuring a roundtable hosted by Savages frontwoman Jehnny Beth, will be available to watch on May 1, so keep your eyes peeled. Described in a press release as “a collection of snapshots and stories”, Man Alive! follows last year’s Hey World! EP of acoustic songs. The album was partially recorded in south London, and later in Stockport when Krule (AKA. Archy Marshall) moved to the north of England after finding out he was going to be a dad.
